Just a note to say what a fantastic job Karen did for Sam and Sadie's engagement party. She rose to the challenge of delivering music for not only a very wide age group, but also to very diverse tastes in music. I understand that she introduced herself to the young couple and offered to play any requests they might have, which indeed she did. All in all a fantastic time was had by all of us and our guests and we received many compliments on the evening. A big thank you to Black Cat Promotions and also to Karen for a wonderful disco. We also look forward to another Black Cat disco at Sam and Sadie's wedding reception on 20th December 2008.

Just to say a huge thank you for all the help over our party on Saturday. It was an enormous success as you saw and you certainly had a big input into it all. All my panics about the band were quite unfounded and they were amazing, as you quite rightly predicted they kept the dance floor full! Please pass on our thanks .I felt terrible that I didn't have a conversation with the jazz band as I was in such a nervous state when they arrived and then became so preoccupied with guests arriving, however they were tremendous and even though we were rather squashed in that part of the marquee, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their playing. Please will you pass on my heartfelt thanks and also my apologies for being so rude to them all, as I didn't thank any of them on the night. The disco kept us all dancing into the small hours, which was just as I wanted it and we all loved every minute of it, certainly Longworth hasn't seen a party like that for a long while. Once again many many thanks for all your calm guidance and I will certainly recommend your help to anyone I know. In fact I have already done so.

"Hi Tony,
George and I just wanted to thank you all for making the evening reception so memorable. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much. If I could go back and relive it all, I would. Friends from Oxford were at the evening reception and when they realised who the band were, they couldn't believe it. Needless to say they made the most of it and danced all night. My dad didn't realise they had started playing, they were so good, he thought the disco was still on. Unfortunately George spent more time socialising than he would have liked and so didn't get to see all the band's performance. I danced all night so didn't miss a thing! Are the band planning on playing any pubs in the Oxford area as George would really like to see them properly. It's also a really good excuse to meet up with friends in the area! If you could let us know of any up and coming gigs, so we can relive the wedding, that would be great!
