The
Chris Henley Trio
The
Chris Henley Trio was formed in March 2000 when drummer Dan
Allsopp joined the already established duo of Chris (Henley)
Trengove (piano/keyboards) and Mark Western (bass.) The band
play a mixture of standards, melodic jazz, blues and funk, creating
their own arrangements with an emphasis on Latin American styling.

six or seven-piece dance/jazz band with vocals.
They play music suitable for dancing or as a background to
private parties and play numbers that are suitable for a great

Oxford
Classical Jazz
We play the hot jazz coming out of the 1920s
and 1930s - swinging music designed to captivate audiences in
places ranging from low down whiskey shacks to high class night
clubs during the golden age of jazz. We use a lot of those Great
American Songs by the likes of Gershwin, Porter, Hart and Carmichael,
but our main musical influences come from the great jazz musicians
of the day.

A
Jazz Menagerie
A
group of experienced professional musicians who play various
styles of jazz and popular music. The co-founders of the group
are Alison Bentley (vocals & keyboards) and Kevin Armstrong
(guitar).
Most of the band - which also features saxophone, and drums,
a bass, a piano, and on occasion, a horn section - met while
studying jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in
London in the early 1990's. Members of the band have played
with Winton Marsalis, The Drifters, and Bruce Springsteen.
Alison
Bentley has performed at the London Jazz Festival, represented
Britain at the Lebanon & Syria international Jazz Festival
and headlined at the Star Alliance Festival in Hong Kong.
We specialise in providing music of the highest quality for
both private and corporate functions, such as parties, balls,
weddings and launches.
