The Poachers are a long-established folk and ceilidh band. We provide bass, guitar, whistles, and fiddle, with changes in tone to include concertina, accordeon, banjo, mandolin. For dancing we provide a caller (to make sure everyone can do the dances) and endeavour to meet requirements for an English, Scottish or Irish flavour to your occasion. All four musicians also sing, and we can provide traditional song from across the British Isles for those occasions when dancers need to get their breath back.

By prior arrangement, hirers can also play their MP3 through our equipment to provide a contrast of musical style.
